The Association of tennis professionals (ATP) published a rules of engagement rating following the resumption of the tour.
- Instead of the annual rating of the counting will be conducted from March 2019 to December 2020.
- Will take into account 18 the best results in the tournaments during this period, but only once for a specific event (best two results).
- Points added to the player rating in 2020, it will be in competition for 52 weeks or until the tournament will be played in 2021.
This means that the current number of points in the ranking can only be increased if it is better to speak at the event compared to the previous season. Glasses will be lifted only once – for the Final tournament (November 9).
As for planting, the first 2 weeks will be frozen rating (16 March), then updated.
Previously, ATP and WTA published the updated calendar.
