The international volleyball Federation (FIVB) has taken the decision to postpone the world championship in beach volleyball from 2021 to 2022. As suggested earlier, it should pass in Rome.
Because of the situation with coronavirus calendar of the international competitions in beach volleyball have been violated. Was not held and will not be held many prestigious tournaments including the FIVB World tour. In addition, not been played the matches of the qualifiers for the Olympic games, which will take place in Japan. And so, as the Olympics carried over to the next year, that should change and timing skills for the Games.
Given all this and considering that the world Championships for beach volleyball held every two years, the FIVB moved near the world championship in June 2022.
Recall that the previous world championship in beach volleyball took place in 2019 in Hamburg. Women won a pair of canadian Sarah Pavan and Melissa Umana-Paredes, and the men title was won by the Russians Oleg stoyanovsky and Viacheslav Krasilnikov.
