Working with COVID-19 workers provided pension benefits
The Russian government has approved a special procedure for calculating the working time of health workers that are treating patients with coronavirus infection. This was stated by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin at the meeting of the coordination Council for combating coronavirus.
“One day care for patients in the service would count as two working days. To act this provision will be from 1 January until the end of September of the current year”, – said Mikhail Mishustin. He added that the relevant government resolution has already been signed.
Due to the new order of calculation of medical experience every year around 4 thousand doctors and other healthcare professionals will be able to early retire. “For the payment of pensions, according to preliminary estimates, each year will require additional 325 million. Such means in the budget plan,” – said Mishustin.
