What has changed? Some amendments in the rules of football
The international football Association Board (IFAB) decided to amend the rules of world football.
A 14-page document published on the website of the organization. The amendments shall enter into force from the beginning of the season 2020/21. The main changes concern the play of the hand and procedure for determining offside.
The main changes in the rules of football:
- If the ball hit the hand below the armpit, then this is interpreted as playing the shoulder is not a violation of the rules.
- Accidental hit of the ball in the player’s hand attack is considered a violation only if it occurs before a goal or scoring point.
- If the defending player intentionally play a hand, and the ball will bounce to the attacking player shall not be considered offside.
- The videoassisted referee (VAR) can only give the chief justice councils, and the final verdict rests with him.
