Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan said that the country is in a critical situation with the pandemic coronavirus. He said this at a briefing on 6 June, writes “Interfax”.
According to him, the country has reached a critical level and the “steps for hell”. The health system is overloaded and does not have time to hospitalized patients.
Pashinyan stressed that the members of the government discussed the possibility of declaring a lockdown, but decided that such a decision will not lead to the desired result. He referred to the monitoring data, who say that the quarantine will not be met in the country at the proper level.
The Agency notes that the daily increase in the number of infections with the coronavirus by more than 500 people celebrated in Armenia for the fifth day in a row. He Pashinyan also hurts COVID-19.
