“We are approaching a time of retribution.” The DPRK is ready to send to South Korea 12 million leaflets

The North Korean authorities are preparing to send about 12 million propaganda leaflets to South Korea using balloons. It is reported the North Korean Agency KCNA.

According to the report, published leaflets of all kinds “reflect the anger and hatred of people from all strata of society.”

The DPRK has prepared various equipment and means of distribution of leaflets, including more than 3 thousand balloons. According to the authorities, they are able to carry the flyers deep into South Korea. “Approaching the age of reckoning”, – writes the Agency.

June 9 , North Korea announced the severance of relations with South Korea. The reason for the decision of the official Pyongyang to sever all ties with Seoul was sending South Korean activists to North Korea propaganda leaflets.

South Korea is waiting for retribution for distributing leaflets insulting the dignity of the DPRK leader Kim Jong-UN, said his sister Kim yo-Jong, a member of the leadership of the workers ‘ party of Korea. It threatened South Korea by the use of the army.

In response, the government of South Korea urged North Korea to detente.

Technically North and South Korea are still at war – after the events of 1950-1953 countries never signed a peace agreement.

In 2018, the relations between the two Koreas eased somewhat. According to the results of the talks in Pyongyang in September 2018, the head of South and North Korea, moon Jae-In and Kim Jong UN signed the agreement, envisaging the reduction of tensions on the Peninsula.
