Vietnam will purchase up to 150 million doses of Russian vaccine from COVID-19

The Ministry of health of Vietnam has applied for the purchase of 50-150 million doses of Russian vaccine to prevent coronavirus infection, writes Reuters with reference to local television. The Minister of health of Viet Nam stressed that despite the purchase of the Satellite V, the country will continue to develop its own vaccine.

The purchase price for the Vietnam unknown, the part of the delivery will be donated to the Russian side, say Vietnamese media. It is also unknown exactly when the vaccine will be delivered to the country.

In Russia the vaccine Sputnik V was registered on 11 August. It is expected that in circulation it will be available from 1 January 2021.
