Russian veterans ‘ organizations asked the President of Russia Vladimir Putin to postpone the traditional Victory parade on may 9 at a later date due to the spread of coronavirus infection. It is reported by TASS.
“You just need to make difficult, but, we believe, a fair decision on holding of the military parade on a different date, when in accordance with the epidemiological situation, the parade will not be a threat, and a true celebration of peace and security for all its members,” wrote the heads of three veterans ‘ organisations.
According to them, this year, “may 9 to give a guarantee of health security with the parade impossible.”
