On 9 July the leader of the Russian liberal democratic party Vladimir Zhirinovsky during a speech in the State Duma of the Russian Federation compared with the times of Joseph Stalin, the arrest of the Governor of Khabarovsk Krai, the member of LDPR Sergey Furgala in the case of custom-made murders. Furgala was detained on the morning of July 9, when he left home to go to work. The investigative Committee of the Russian Federation considers it the organizer of the attacks and murders of businessmen in 2004-2005 in the territory of the Khabarovsk territory and Amur region. Furgala has already announced the charges.
