UEFA: the Federation must submit plans by may 27, and play out of the League until August 3
At a meeting of the UEFA Executive Committee, which was held today, April 23, via videoconference, was made a number of recommendations for member countries.
Completing national Championships 2019/20 should not go beyond the date of 3 August.
55 member federations have until may 27 to submit plans calendars of their leagues.
UEFA wants to make sure that all associations will be able to finish matches remaining in the calendar.
In case of impossibility to finish the championship, the Federation (but not the League!) will have to send the list of qualified teams for the next European cups, based on the sporting results of the current season.
UEFA will ensure the application of the criteria of sports significance and transparency, otherwise reserves the right to refuse admission to the competition.
