Twitter started tagging posts with fakes on the relationship of coronavirus with 5G

Social network Twitter started to label tweets that link 5G with coronavirus. On 8 June, according to Business Insider.

Under such posts appears a label that says “Get the facts about COVID-19”. Clicking on a label, you move on to the topic, “No, 5G is not causing coronavirus” with links to news articles, tweets, and official sources that refute the conspiracy theory.

A Twitter representative told reporters that the company prefers to remove content about COVID-19, if there is a call for potentially harmful actions. He added that last month the social network announced that it is introducing new labels and warning messages to provide more context and information about some of the tweets that contain controversial information about COVID-19, or one that is misleading.
