The President of the United States Donald trump June 27, said on Twitter that he had signed a decree to toughen the responsibility for the desecration of monuments, statues and memorials.
“Only that I had the honour to sign a strong Executive order on the protection of American monuments, memorials and statues, as well as the fight against the recent criminal violence. Long prison sentences for these illegal actions against our great Country!” – he wrote.
As reported by NBC News, the order of the trump stricter standards of the existing Federal law which provides for up to 10 years in prison for desecration of monuments.
