Trump has decided to impose sanctions against countries that do not export their citizens from the United States during a pandemic coronavirus
The President of the United States Donald trump allowed the state Department to impose sanctions against countries that refuse to evacuate their citizens or unmotivated postpone their evacuation from the United States during a pandemic coronavirus. “States that refuse or unreasonably delay the return of their citizens, nationals or residents of the United States during the pandemic coronavirus, pose unacceptable risks to the health of Americans”, – the document says.
The Memorandum will be valid until 31 December 2020. It obliges the Secretary of state no later than seven days after receipt of the notice from the Ministry of national security, to impose visa sanctions against countries which unreasonably refuses repatriation of its citizens.
The restrictions against foreign States removed no later than one week after the resumption of the export of citizens.
The Secretary of state has the right to impose sanctions “in accordance with the foreign policy interests of the United States.”
