Three cities host Euro 2020 in question. UEFA postponed the meeting of the Executive Committee

UEFA has announced that the next meeting of the Executive Committee of the main football organization in Europe postponed to June 17.

The next meeting of the UEFA Executive Committee was previously scheduled for may 27. Until that time the leaders of UEFA expected from national associations of specific data about a possible resumption of their domestic Championships and their dates.

At the meeting of the expected serious decisions about the future of European football. But it turned out that there were questions regarding some of the arenas of Euro 2020, which arose from the transfer of the tournament in the summer of 2021 in connection with the pandemic coronavirus.

According to journalists insiders, the question now on three cities host Euro 2020: Bilbao (Spain), Amsterdam (Netherlands) and Rome (Italy).

Adjournment of the meeting of the Executive Committee will allow UEFA to hold further consultations. If one or more cities will refuse, it is possible for any redistribution of the matches among the remaining cities, or the attraction of new cities in countries that will host the tournament.
