The Vatican museums will be open from 1 June. Entrance by appointment only

Museums located on the territory of the Vatican city, June 1, will open to visitors after the nearly three-month break, caused by a coronavirus pandemic. About it reports “Radio Vatican”.

Due to the fact that the pandemic coronavirus have not yet ended, the Vatican changed the order of visits to museums. In particular, the tour will need to pre-order on the website (for the period of quarantine additional fee for pre-ordering of tickets in the amount of €4 cancelled).

At the entrances to the Museum, visitors will measure temperature are also required to wear protective masks.

Free entrance to the Vatican museums on the last Sunday of the month cancelled before the end of the epidemic.

Museums and cathedrals on the territory of the Vatican closed to the public since the beginning of March.

According to the American Johns Hopkins University, in the Vatican, the coronavirus has infected 12 people, two of them are already recovered.
