The U.S. Supreme court went against the wishes trump the protection of immigrants. The President called the verdict a terrible
On 18 June, the U.S. Supreme court made the final decision in the so-called dreamers. So called in America, illegal immigrants came to the country as children.
As follows from the decision published on the website of the court, the judge acknowledged insufficient justification for the decision of the administration of Donald trump about the cancellation of the DACA program (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals), to provide such immigrants protection from deportation.
The verdict passed with a minimum margin of five votes to four. It was the decisive vote of the Chairman of the court of John Roberts.
According to the decision, the White house may appeal to the lower courts with arguments in favor of repeal DACA.
Trump in his Twitter expressed outrage at the decision, he called it “terrible” and political, but also demanded to start the process again.
As President of the United States, I am asking for a legal solution on DACA, not a political one, consistent with the rule of law. The Supreme Court is not willing to give us one, so now we have to start this process all over again.
