Formula 1 still aims to start the season 3-5 July with the Grand Prix of Austria. Ideally, in this country must undergo two races in a row, and then another two races will take the Kingdom, and Hungary.
In that case, if the season will start, the main test of the ability to hold races in such conditions it will be in Austria, where expect high security measures.
This was told by Red bull boss Christian Horner. Red bull owns the circuit.
“Red bull has taken an incredible effort to get the season started in July. We own the circuit, and in this respect it is easier for us, but we cooperate with the Austrian government”.
“Testing, screening, test – all this will be on a draconian level. If all goes well we will be able to start, then this plan will be able to use other tracks,” said Horner.
F-1 has not yet published a preliminary calendar.
