In Scotland are considering the possibility to expand the top division next season from 12 to 14 teams. Clubs can refuse to continue the campaign 2019/20 and to end the season early due to pandemic coronavirus.
The League has asked clubs to vote for a resolution that would call current final place in the Championship, First League and Second League (divisions 2-4), based on the average number of points per game. The same treatment is expected to the 12 Premier League clubs, but only after April 23, when UEFA will meet on European football season.
The Scottish League is going to start consultations on the restructuring of the tournament. The expansion of the Premier League up to 14 teams will stay in a top-division club “hearts”, and promoted in the class “Dundee United” and “Inverness”.
An early champion of the Scottish Premier League may be declared to be “Celtic”, which is the Ukrainian Marian Swede.
