Tour group of Igor Dyatlov died in 1959 in Sverdlovsk region after an avalanche, this was stated by Deputy head of Department of the Prosecutor General in the Urals Federal district Andrey Koryakov, said the Agency TASS reported on 11 July.
According to him, all the injuries on the bodies of the victims similar to those given to the climbers during the descent of avalanches. During the inspection, the investigation found that six of the nine members of the group died from hypothermia, the three were the injury is caused by the pressure of ambient forces, said Koryakov.
The lawyer of the public Foundation the memory of Dyatlov’s group Yevgeny Chernousov, said that relatives of the victims in 1959 in the Northern Urals do not agree with the version of the Prosecutor General. This was reported by TASS.
Chernousov has promised to review the conclusions of the Prosecutor’s office and said that actually test nothing.
In February 2019, the representative of the Russian Prosecutor General’s office Alexander Kurennoy said that there are 75 versions of the death of group of Dyatlov, “including the most odious as the alien or supernatural intervention” of which the investigation wants to establish one. The most likely causes of death of tourists associated with natural hazards (avalanche, hurricane). The Prosecutor ruled out criminal version of the death of Dyatlov’s group.
