The President of Kazakhstan demanded again to enter the country’s strict quarantine
As reports the official site Tokayev, at the meeting on 29 June, he demanded to take measures “to stabilize the epidemiological situation.”
“I am instructing the state Commission to develop and submit within two days a proposal to impose a strict quarantine regime, in March – may of this year,” he said.
According to Tokayev, “the spread of the virus has increased seven-fold since the lifting of restrictions on 11 may”.
“This is largely due to shortcomings in the work of several government agencies. It should be noted that the Central and local authorities are not ready to work effectively after the emergency situation. The interdepartmental Commission was unable to complete its task. It must be admitted. The Ministry of health failed to coordinate the work of Central and local authorities,” – said the President of Kazakhstan.
As of June 29, in Kazakhstan 21.3 thousand confirmed cases of infection with coronavirus, died 183 people, evidenced by data from the American Johns Hopkins University.
