Poland is considering the possibility of removing restrictions from mid-June to cross the border, embedded in a pandemic coronavirus infection COVID-19. About it in interview “Polsat News” said the Deputy Prime Minister Jadwiga Emilevich.
“We assume that if the number of infections will grow faster than now, we can open the borders after June 15. I say this with great caution,” said Emilevich.
She added that does not exclude the creation of “tourism zones” with neighbors Poland.
“If the countries bordering the us controlled the epidemic situation similar to our standards of safety and hygiene, and they would be willing to open borders with us – we act on the principle of partnership”, – said Deputy Prime Minister.
On 18 March, the EU leaders took the decision to close the external borders of the pandemic coronavirus. The economies of the countries of the European Union suffered great losses from the cessation of the flow of tourists.
After two months the restrictions of European countries to develop a plan of release from quarantine. Greece plans to reopen the tourist season on 1 July. The country is ready to receive tourists who will pass the test COVID-19 and will be able to present the certificate on absence of the disease.
Italy will authorize the entry of foreigners on June 3. External European borders will be closed at least until June 15.
