Police in Canada reported that at least 19 people were killed in an attack by an armed 51-year-old dentist Gabriela Wortman of the inhabitants of the province of Nova Scotia. This was reported by the TV channel CBC on April 20.
He Wartman was among the victims.
According to police, the shooter was familiar with some of his victims. At the moment the police are investigating the incident.
Law enforcement authorities have not been able to see five burned-out houses in city Portapak and other communities – these fires are also associated with the attack of Wortman. Perhaps there too will be found dead, say police.
It is expected that with further investigation a number of victims of the attack will increase.
The attacks began in the town of Portapak April 18, when police received reports of gunfire in one of the houses. Police arrived at the scene and found several dead bodies. Several houses in the town were set on fire.
Soon the identity of the attacker installed, they were 51-year-old Gabriel Wortman. He was soon arrested at a gas station, later the police said that he died. The details of the incident are still unknown.
Among the victims was a police officer, another police officer were hospitalized with injuries.
According to the channel, Wortman was the owner of several dental clinics in two villages.
The police is not considering the incident as a terrorist attack.
