The number of deaths from COVID-19 in Britain, exceeded 40 thousand people
As of 5 may in the UK from coronavirus infection died more than 40 261 people. This is evidenced by the country’s Ministry of health, published in Twitter.
For the last day in the United Kingdom were registered 357 related COVID-19 deaths. The UK became the second country in the world (after the USA) to break the mark of 40 thousand deaths.
The country 283 311 confirmed cases of infection with coronavirus (1,65 thousand of them over the last day).
As of 9am June 5, there have been 5,214,277 tests with 207,231 tests on 4 June.
283,311 people have tested positive.
As of 5pm on 4 June, of those tested positive for coronavirus, across all settings, 40,261 have sadly died.
