The Ministry of health has denied the information about the pre-access to the vaccine against coronavirus

A vaccine against coronavirus infection is still undergoing clinical trial and its use, including for elites and business, it is impossible, said TASS assistant to the Minister of health of the Russian Federation Alexey Kuznetsov. Kuznetsov stressed that the vaccine is not yet released into circulation.

Previously, the Agency Bloomberg said that a number of Russian businessmen and politicians allegedly received from April 2020 access to the vaccine for coronavirus infection, the development of which is the national research centre of epidemiology and Microbiology named after N. F. Gamalei, Russian Ministry Of Health.

“Currently, clinical tests of two forms of the vaccine, developed by the research center. Gamalei. The vaccine was given to volunteers, officially included in the test. After completion of the tests, in accordance with the law, will decide its state registration. At present, the vaccine in circulation is not issued, its use outside clinical trials is impossible,” – said Kuznetsov.

Phase II trials of the Russian vaccine against the coronavirus, which was developed in SIC name N. F. Gamalei, to be completed August 3, announced last Thursday the head of RDIF Kirill Dmitriev. According to him, the regulatory approval to use the Russian vaccine is expected in August – September 2020. The third phase of clinical trials will be conducted not only in Russia but also in several other countries, including in the middle East.
