The Ministry of health has calculated the duration of appointments for medical specialists
The Ministry of health published a draft document defining the standards of time visiting doctors for a number of specialties, writes “Kommersant”. Document published on the portal regulation.gov.ru.
According to the Ministry, the duration of the hematologist and the infectious diseases will be 20 minutes, oncologist – 23 minutes of the surgeon and the pulmonologist – 36 minutes, a TB – 35 minutes. Filling out paperwork should not take more than 40% of the time of reception.
Time norms for admission are the basis for norms of workload, population, and other indicators of work of medical specialists in outpatient centres. Their implementation continues in 2012, at present already has established the standards for a number of medical specialties, for example General practitioners, dentists, cardiologists.
According to the explanatory note to the document, the introduction of new time standards to give the regions a new tool to determine their requirements for certain health care providers.
