The Ministry confirmed the stability of the system of digital marking
The Ministry of industry and trade reported on the stability of the state system “Honest sign” after the introduction of mandatory labelling of medicines, footwear and tobacco products on 1 July. To date, the system registered more than 67 thousand participants in the trafficking of drugs.
“The development of the marking system in Russia is a positive trend for the whole economy. July 1, marking Data Matrix codes became mandatory for pharmaceuticals, tobacco products, Shoe products. The system works without failures, the documents are processed as normal”, – said state Secretary, Deputy Minister of industry and trade Viktor Evtukhov.
The system was about 230 thousand companies from different areas. In recent months, the number of participants increased mainly due to the outlets. In June were registered in the system nearly 5 thousand participants in the trafficking of drugs, which is 4 times higher than that in may.
To date, the system issued approximately 16 billion codes for different types of products. Including about 1.27 billion on medicines. Issue codes in pharmaceuticals is in the 18-19 million codes per working day.
