The Minister of foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic tomáš Peter had an accident in Prague, reported the website Blesk.cz. The incident occurred on the night of 6 may.
The Minister was returning home in a taxi. Suddenly the driver became ill, he crashed into a parked car. Speed was small, the Minister has not suffered.
Rescuers and doctors about 30 minutes trying to resuscitate the 62-year-old taxi driver, but to no avail.
Peter told the publication that he is very sorry about the death of men and is organizing a mass in his memory.
The police of the Czech Republic said on Twitter that the foreign Minister was at the time of the accident without protection. “It is his right and it is a common case. The protected person may withdraw or suspend police protection at any time,” – said in a tweet.
