The mayor of the capital of South Korea Seoul Park Won-sun, who the day before was found dead, left a suicide note. This was reported by Yonhap News.
64-year-old politician was gone after his former Secretary filed a police complaint on unwanted “physical contact” and “inappropriate” message from the chief.
Police began a massive operation to search for the mayor, which was attended by hundreds of officers, drones and dogs.
Later, the body of Park Won-soon found in the woods near mount Bukaksan near the official residence of the mayor in the centre of Seoul.
According to the police, presumably, he committed suicide. Traces of violent death on the body was not.
Later on the table in the mayor’s office found a message in which he asked forgiveness of everyone, thanked his family and bequeathed to cremate him.
Park Won-soon’s is known in South Korea lawyer and public figure. The office of mayor of South Korean capital has held since 2011.
