The man who seized hostages in the French Le Havre, detained
The suspect, captured 6 Aug hostages in the French city of Le Havre, was detained. This was reported by the TV channel BFM TV.
Did the security forces of the assault or the attacker surrendered himself, the TV channel did not elaborate.
Shortly before his arrest he released a fourth hostage. As noted by BFM, the first prisoner, the man released before came a special unit of the police, one man fled on their own. Before the arrest in the room with the suspect remained a hostage.
According to TV channel, all the hostages unharmed. The police said that the man seized a branch of the Bank “not to Rob, and to talk about yourself.”
About the hostage situation at a Bank branch in the centre of Le Havre, near police station, became known in the evening on 6 August. The suspect – 34-year-old man. BFM reported that he had previously prosecuted for petty crimes and was in psychiatric treatment.
