July 15-the Maldives open its borders to foreign tourists, including from Ukraine. About it it is reported on the website of the Ministry of tourism of the country.
“Before you travel you will only need to confirm a hotel reservation, cruise ship or resort, which is registered in the Ministry of tourism of the Republic of Maldives. They will be open for booking from 15 July”, – is spoken in the message.
The tourist does not have to present a test COVID-19 or be subjected to comply with the quarantine.
“Tourists who plan to visit Maldives in the first phase, you could pick one hotel and stay there until the end of the trip. Stay in several resorts at once in this period will be limited”, – informs the Ministry.
According to the Ministry, travelers with symptoms of SARS at the border crossing will be required to do PCR. In addition, local health authorities may carry out sample testing free.
Due to the spread of coronavirus infection, a number of countries, including Ukraine, has suspended flights.
In connection with the improvement of the epidemiological situation on may 11 in Ukraine began the easing of the quarantine. May 20, the Cabinet extended the restrictions until June 22, but has introduced so-called adaptive quarantine: the regional authorities received the right to relax quarantine measures in case of improvement of the epidemiological situation.
June 5, Ukraine has resumed domestic flights, and on 15 June started international flights.
