“The likelihood of renaming is much lower”. The Russian Embassy in Prague explained the failure of the address in the square Nemtsov
On 18 April the Russian Embassy in the Czech Republic confirmed in Facebook that their official address was not an area of Boris Nemtsov appeared in Prague recently, and the street Korunovacni.
“In mid-March from city hall of Prague, the Embassy received notice “of the termination address of the Executive building of the Embassy: the area Under the Chestnut trees, the orientation number 1”, is the official address of the Russian Embassy. According to the notice to the Executive building “is stored the address: street Korunovacni, orientation room 36”. Given the fact that the name of the street Korunovacni is historical, being used for over 100 years and we think the probability of its renaming is much lower than that suddenly appeared in the Czech capital of the toponym “Piazza Boris Nemtsov,” the Embassy decided to continue to use the street address Korunovacni, orientation room 36 as part of its official address,” – said the Embassy.
The Embassy stressed that the notification of the Czech side were “exclusively technical character” and said that “this plot here is deliberately trying to give a political voice”.
