The level of trust to Putin in Russia has fallen to historic lows – poll
The level of confidence in the President of Russia Vladimir Putin in March fell to the lowest level in 14 years – for the time of such polls of the all-Russian center for public opinion (VTSIOM). The results of a survey published April 27 at the center’s website.
In accordance with the obtained results, the trust Putin said 28.3% of respondents. Of no confidence the Russian President said 8%, which is the maximum level of distrust for all time of observations.
As noted by “Radio Liberty”, the polls asked an open-ended question: “If we talk about politicians, whom you trust, and who would not trust the decision of important state questions?” That is, the respondents had to name the policy without prompting sociologists.
From this methodology the polls were refused in may 2019, when the level of confidence in Putin has fallen to historically low at the time of 30.5%. During the year the centre conducted research, asking a closed question: whether Respondent trusts Vladimir Putin.
