The lack of regulations made it impossible to deliver drugs

Russian popular front (onf) has appealed to Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin to expedite the adoption of normative documents that regulate the sale of medicines via the Internet and their delivery to the consumer. About it writes RBC.

“Currently, the remote sale of medicines in Russia is virtually impossible, because the Russian government approved the relevant rules,” reads the letter signed by the head of the Executive Committee of the popular front Mikhail Kuznetsov. As the authors of the letter, more than 20% of all reports to the hotline volunteer of the onf project, requests to help with drug delivery.

Public organization also requested to provide for sales of OTC products an opportunity to deliver their couriers without special permissions, in order to accelerate the deployment of the infrastructure for online trading of medication.

Vladimir Putin signed a decree authorizing remotely to sell non-prescription medicines March 17, 2020 and April 1 in the third reading the state Duma adopted the bill.
