The owner of the Ukrainian organization Natus Vincere, Alexander ‘ZeroGravity’ Kokhanovsky said that the Kyiv hotel “Dnipro” will be converted to eSports.
Dnipro is one of the key infrastructure projects in the framework of the development of eSports in Ukraine. Our goal is to make Kiev the Mecca of eSports, and Ukraine closer in level to South Korea and the United States.
In 5 years we plan to change the face of domestic e-sports. To develop the infrastructure started with the “Dnepr”. And soon will begin a project to create a multifunctional eSports arena in the center of Kiev, which will not have analogues in Ukraine. This is our main project with which we will be able to hold events of international level. Not only eSports, but also music and sports. The next step is the opening of the twenty super-modern play centres in the largest cities of Ukraine. In addition, under the strategy, we will open the Academy of eSports, run the Ukrainian League, Ukrainian Cup, as well as school and student League. Will not remain without attention and education of the Department of e-sports will be launched in leading universities of the country.
A detailed strategy for the development of eSports Ukraine will be presented in early September 2020 in the framework of the presentation of the Ukrainian Professional ESports Association, which will unite key market players, known around the world.
Honestly, we weren’t going to build or buy a hotel. But after the announcement of the auction Dnipro realized that this object is unique and perfectly complements our ecosystem. So we are now planning the world’s first Esports Ready Hotel. It will include unique eSports elements: training zones, the eSports scene, special rooms for professional players, as well as the best in the world players’ lounge,” said Kochanowski.
Earlier it was reported that in Kharkov you may receive the Academy of eSports.
