In the second quarter of 2020, real disposable income of the population of Russia decreased by 8% yoy. It is stated in the report Rosstat RF (.doc).
For the first half of 2020, according to the Ministry, real disposable income fell by 3.7% compared to the same period of 2019.
It is the deepest quarterly fall since the late 1990-ies, writes “Interfax”. In 1999, for the year incomes of Russians decreased by more than 10%.
According to “Rain” from 2019 monthly Rosstat has published the data about dynamics of real incomes of the population, these data now appear quarterly. Since 2014, the real incomes of Russians fell for four consecutive years. In March 2019, the Agency changed the method of calculation and the changed data in 2018: according to the old method income fell 0.2% and new — rose 0.1%.
