The health Ministry of Belarus consider that the country has reached a plateau at COVID-19. On 14 may, the TV channel CTV said Deputy Minister of health Elena Bogdan.

Bogdan noted that recently Belarus goes to the so-called plateau, when an average daily number of positive tests COVID-19 is 8.7–9.7% of total number of studies.

A plateau is a period that occurs after the peak of the epidemic, when the number of new cases of the disease does not exceed the previous day (or slight excess). That is, the daily number of new cases approximately the same. After the plateau there comes a time when the number of infected per day is reduced.

According to data of the Ministry of health of Belarus, in the country 26 772 confirmed cases of infection with coronavirus. From them 8 thousand recovered, 151 people died.

During the epidemic of Belarus has not closed its borders, not to stop the operation of businesses, shops, food establishments and education. Also, there is no ban on mass gatherings, despite the fact that the experts of the world health organization urged the authorities to introduce restrictive measures.
