The head of the government of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan said that the country is experiencing the second wave of the pandemic coronavirus infection COVID-19. It is reported Agency AMI.
“Unfortunately, I have to admit that the country has faced a difficult situation. De facto I can say that dealing with the second wave of the coronavirus,” said he.
The head of government noted that the country’s problems with the observance of quarantine.
A state of emergency to curb the spread of coronavirus have been announced in Armenia from March 16, 2020 for a month. On 13 April, the government extended a state of emergency for a month – until may 14, and then another month, until June 13.
At the same time imposed from March 24 restrictions on freedom of movement and some kinds of economic activities was removed from 4 may and 18 may and resumed the work of public transport, gyms, kindergartens and catering facilities.
