The government has increased spending on subsidised medicines
The Cabinet has indexed the amount by which preferential categories of citizens can receive free medicines, medical products and health food. This decree was signed by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.
Now the government will allocate per beneficiary 886,4 rubles a month. It will increase budget spending on social assistance to more than 988 million rubles in 2020.
To free medicines and medical products are entitled to more than 20 categories of beneficiaries. Among them – the disabled, people with chronic diseases, children under three years (for families of up to six years) and world war II veterans, combat veterans, Chernobyl victims, representatives of the indigenous peoples of the North, as well as citizens living in the zone of alienation.
“The list of medical devices is determined individually for each category. For example, for children with rare diseases in addition to medication available products for therapeutic nutrition, and for the citizens affected by radiation, are free to make dentures.
Prescription medicine gives the attending physician in the clinic upon presentation of a privileged document,” the government explained.
The person may waive the right to receive benefits in return for monetary compensation. To do this, you must apply to the Pension Fund.
