The former world champion is ready to coach Wilder
The former world champion in two weight categories Michael Moorer expressed willingness to train the ex-champion under version WBC in a super heavyweight American Deontay Wilder (42-1-1, 41 KO’s).
“Of course, I’d love to train Wilder. I’m a very technical guy. I think that after the defeat, I became even better fighter.
Now Wilder is distressed because of his defeat. He lost to the guy who knows how to flirt with journalists and fans. Fury has charisma. This guy beat Wilder. It’s over, it’s over. But Deontay will have another chance to avenge themselves. That’s all.
In the place of the Wilder, I would have kept the opponent under heavy shock fire. If someone tried to break into the near distance, I would have hit him before. I’d trained the Wilder things. I would advise him to get back to the basics, use your footwork, hold your hands and keep the opponent at a distance. We can’t fend for themselves. Wilder is a very big and strong guy with a powerful shot. He should not allow opponents to circumvent his punches,” said Michael Moorer.
We will remind, in the night from 22 to 23 February in Las Vegas, British heavyweight boxer Tyson fury destroyed in the revenge of the American Deontay Wilder and took his championship belt by the WBC and The Ring. The American has twice been knocked down, and in the seventh round his corner threw in the towel.
