The office for quality control of foodstuffs and medicines USA authorized the sale of an electronic system of heating IQOS tobacco the status of tobacco products with reduced impact on the health of consumers. Approval of these products requires the company to carry out supervision and after-sales research to determine whether the applicable paragraphs of the resolution, including an assessment of the likelihood of increasing usage of the product by young people, said the FDA.

The issued permit also does not allow the company to make any other claims of reduced risk or to use the statements in an explicit or latent form, which could introduce consumers to the misperception that these products are approved or endorsed by the FDA or that the FDA believes the products are safe for use by consumers.
