The European Union considers the decision of the social network Twitter to remove the tweets of US President Donald trump, and mark them as invalid. About it on June 10 at a briefing in Brussels said the Vice-President of the European Commission responsible for the policy of preserving the European values and transparency, Faith Jourova. Her performance was broadcast by the European service of external relations on Twitter.
The actions of the microblogging service answer EU policy on the fight against fakes, said Jourova in the course of performance of a complex of measures on strengthening of struggle with misinformation.
“Twitter hasn’t deleted a single message of the President of the trump. He added facts. And that’s what is called pluralism”, – said the Deputy head of the European Commission.
