The European championship on football in 2021 may pass without an audience
Zeke Emanuel, chair of the Department of medical ethics and health policy at the University of Pennsylvania and Advisor to the world health organization (who), warned that events involving spectators can be prohibited until 2021.
Emanuel discussed the future of sporting events at a special debate and gave predictions, which can spread to other sporting events such as football Championships, including UEFA Euro 2020. He said
“As for large meetings, conferences, concerts, sporting events. When people say they are going to reschedule the conference for October 2020, I have no idea why they think it’s the most likely possibility. I think that these things will come back last. Really, we’re talking about the autumn of 2021 as the earliest date”.
Sporting events worldwide including the Olympic games 2020 in Tokyo and Euro 2020 have been suspended or postponed due to the pandemic coronavirus.
