The epidemic of coronavirus in Russia may last until mid-June – academician
The spread of coronavirus infection in Russia could be completed in mid-June. As reported to RBC, this was stated by the academician of the Russian Academy of science Alexander Chuchalin.
He noted that the coronavirus infections is “a cycle”. According to chuchalina, previous outbreaks of disease associated with coronaviruses (severe acute respiratory syndrome-SARS and middle East respiratory syndrome MERS), lasted about three and a half months.
Academician suggests that the epidemic COVID-19 in Russia will develop according to the same scenario. “Somewhere in the middle of June, we should expect that this problem will come to naught,” — said Chuchalin.
