The Embassy of the Russian Federation has rejected allegations of involvement in the killings of American soldiers in Afghanistan
The Russian Embassy in the US, categorically rejected the involvement of Moscow to the attacks on American troops in Afghanistan. This is stated in the statement published by the Russian Embassy on Twitter in response to the publication of the newspaper The New York Times.
Thus, the data sources NYT that Russian intelligence suggested linked to Taliban militants rewards for the assassination of the American military, the Embassy called a fake.
“Baseless and anonymous accusations published by the NYT, has led to the direct threat of life of employees of the Russian embassies in Washington and London,” says the Embassy.
