The CPS announced the investigation of population immunity to coronavirus
To assess population immunity to COVID-19 the CPS organizes the sero-survey given to the Protocol recommended by the world health organization. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry.
“Data on the state of population immunity, which is expected in the course of the research necessary to identify features of epidemic process, the development of the forecast of development of the epidemiological situation in a particular region and the country as a whole, as well as planning for specific and nonspecific prevention COVID-19”, – explained in the CPS.
In the first stage, in June 2020, a study is planned to be held in 22 regions. In the study using random sampling is proposed to include children from 1 year to 17 years and adults in six age groups 18-29 years, 30-39 years, 40-49 years, 50-59 years, 60-69 years, 70 years and older.
For laboratory tests will be used ELISA test system for IgG SARS-CoV-2 production by Federal budget institution of science “State research center for applied Microbiology and biotechnology” of Rospotrebnadzor in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
