10th July Sports arbitration court in Lausanne reversed a two-year disqualification Manchester city from the Champions League, which has left UEFA for violations of financial fair play.
This week the court published the full verdict in the case, where he explained his position.
The court decision noted, “that Manchester city have shown a gross contempt of the Arbitration court and refused to cooperate and provide documents.”
However, the court did not find clear evidence that the club cheated when making sponsorship contracts that allowed us to show positive financial statements. The court took into account emails to leaders city, who had previously leaked and was one of the reasons for the disqualification, but the correspondence was dated 2015 and earlier years, when financial fair play has not yet acted.
The court noted that to prove the guilt of the club had UEFA, however, during the meeting, the prosecutors have not provided convincing evidence of violations of the Manchester teams.
