The coronavirus vaccine may be ready in September
Professor and a leading vaccinologist at Oxford University, Sarah Gilbert said that the vaccine COVID-19 will be ready in September.
According to her, the vaccine trials on humans to take place over the next two weeks.
“I think there’s a good chance that this work, based on the things that we have done with this type of vaccine,” – said the scientist.
She added that to create a vaccine by the autumn “almost possible, if everything will be fine”, but warned that “no one can promise that this will work”.
“It’s not just a guess, every week we have more data. I would say that the probability of 80%, this is my personal opinion,” said Gilbert.
Note that in Ukraine, the coronavirus has infected 2511 people.
