Terminally ill children will allow you to stay in the hospital with his parents
Vice-Premier of the Russian Federation Tatyana Golikova has instructed the regional Ministry of health to provide parents or other legal representatives in case of hospitalization for terminally ill children, reports TASS. The maintainer shall provide a bed and food.
“The heads of Executive authorities of subjects of the Russian Federation in the sphere of health protection: <…> to provide the opportunity to support children in need in the provision of palliative care, one parent, other family member, legal representative, during their hospitalization in a medical organization providing medical aid in stationary conditions, providing them with free bed and free food,” reads the minutes of the meeting of the Council under the government of the Russian Federation on issues of guardianship in the social sphere. The order should be executed until 31 October 2020.
Also, the regions requested to submit to the Ministry of health of Russia approved order of how terminally ill patients will be provided medical devices that are intended to maintain the functions of organs and systems of organism at home. In addition, they must submit proposals on how a regional perspective to improve the transfer of patients such medical devices.
