Alexander Metreveli, Vice-President of tennis Federation of Georgia, condemned the actions of the first racket of the country Nikoloz Basilashvili, who was detained for beating a former wife.
“We will definitely make a statement. The violence is unacceptable. We all know Nico, so we were struck by this event. When the husband and the wife divorce, there are always differences, not only in the case of Nico. I knew he had problems,” said Metreveli.
Recall tennis player Nikoloz Basilashvili was arrested may 22 on charges of domestic violence.
