Technology Conduct-A-Bot allows you to control the drone movements

Laboratory for computer science and artificial intelligence Massachusetts Institute of technology (MIT CSAIL) has developed a technology control Conduct-A-Bot that uses muscle sensors and motion detectors for a more “natural” control of robots. Algorithms capture the gestures, tracking movement of the person, and the activity of certain individual muscles – biceps, triceps and forearms. To control the bot enough of a wave of the hand grip fist or tension of hands.

The system does not require environmental assessment, the offline calibration or training for each individual. In other words, in order to use it, does not require any special training.

Technology Conduct-A-Bot is not yet ready for real use. Drone Parrot Bebop 2 answered by only 82 percent of the more than 1,500 managers of gestures that, although it looks promising, but can not guarantee full control. The scientists intend to Refine the technology, including opportunities and custom continuous gestures.
